T2MTU: Canva Polls & Quizzes

Canva has released a new feature in their Presentations: Live Polls & Quizzes. These elements can be added into any presentation and allow viewers with a link to the presentation to test their knowledge or share their opinion.

Using Canva Polls and Quizzes

Step 1: Start with a Presentation Design

  • Open Canva and choose the “Presentation” type from the available design options.
  • Note: Polls and quizzes are only available in presentation designs, not in other design types like regular graphics or websites.

Step 2: Access the Polls and Quizzes Feature

  • Once you’ve started your presentation, go to the “Elements” tab on the left-hand menu.
  • Scroll down or search for “Polls and Quizzes” in the Elements section.

Step 3: Add a Poll or Quiz

  • Select the poll or quiz element you’d like to use.
  • Drag it onto your slide to position it where you want.
  • Customize the content, such as the question and answer options, in the window that slides out from the side.

Step 4: Preview and Present

  • Preview your slide to ensure everything looks and works as expected.
  • When you’re ready, present your Canva presentation, and the polls or quizzes will be interactive during your slideshow.
  • You can also embed your presentation into a Canvas page or other website.
