Reset a Canvas/System Password
Follow these steps to reset your Canvas or Francis Tuttle System password (the one you’d use to log into a computer):
Option 1
(works for staff on your assigned FT computer):
- Type Ctrl + Alt + Del, and then select “Change Password” and follow the prompts to reset your system password.
Option 2
(works for students or staff on any computer):
- Visit https://pwmanager.francistuttle.edu/
Hint: You can also find this link on the Canvas Login Page, marked “Students & Staff- Forgot Password?”
(Hint: If a “Sign in” pop up screen appears, asking for your username and password, hit “Cancel” to access the screen shown below.)
2. If you know your current password, login by typing your Username and Password into the boxes shown below. Then follow the prompts to update your password by typing in your Old and New Passwords.
2b. If you do not know your current password, click in the Forgot your password box.
3. Type in your username and the Captcha text into the boxes that appear, and then click Continue, following the prompts to reset your password.
