About Release Notes (FAQ)
In order to give you the best product available, Canvas constantly looks for ways to make the system better. This is accomplished through their developers, designers, and input from end users such as yourself. They utilize information known as release notes to help keep you informed.
Every third Saturday of the month, Canvas provides an overview of release notes. These notes include updates, changes, enhancements, or bug fixes for a product release. Once a month you will see a highlighted version of these notes through our ID3 website.
Updated Features: Canvas functionality that will be added, changed, or removed

Release Previews: an opt-in option that allows institutions to preview functionality and is eventually incorporated for all users.
*Release notes do not indicate features that are currently in development or could be in development.
*Canvas Mobile release notes are only published for new and updated features. Other version updates that only include bug fixes are published in the app store.
