The ID3 Department at Francis Tuttle Technology Center serves as a one-stop shop for FT instructors, helping them with technology, curriculum development, multimedia, and more.
The department also administers the Canvas LMS system, My Learning Plan, and LinkedIn Learning.

The ID3 Team
Senior Instructional Design Specialist
Carlos de la Vega has over 10 years of experience providing support to online and face-to-face programs at Francis Tuttle. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Occupational Teaching. Carlos is a member of the US Army Reserve. He functions as a Senior Military Police Instructor, Observer/Coach Trainer (OC/T), and most recently as the battalion operations/training, S3 administrator.

Senior Instructional Design Specialist
Amanda Dills has been working in the field of online instructor support for over 16 years and working in ID3 at Francis Tuttle since January, 2020. Prior to that she was the D2L Administrator and Instructional Technologist at Oklahoma City University. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a Master’s Degree in Music Composition from OCU, and a Master’s Certificate in Online Teaching from OSU. Her teaching experience includes everything from K-12 classroom instruction and teaching for the El Sistema organization in OKC to co-designing and delivering a Hyflex “Teaching With Technology” course for masters-level Nursing students.

Senior Instructional Design Specialist
Whitley Pinkston recently rejoined the ID3 family as a Sr. Instructional Design Specialist in February 2021. She has been providing services and support to subject matter experts to ensure effective curriculum development, content design, courses facilitation, and training for almost 10 years, including 6 previous years in ID3 as well as several years in the oil and gas industry. Whitley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and her Master’s degree in Adult Education from UCO.

Manager Instructional Design
Tami Blake has been in the field of education for over 20 years. During her 10 years as a high school teacher, she taught many subjects including English, Biology, Algebra, and Geometry. She is certified to teach K-12 special education and secondary math and holds special endorsements in Traumatic Brain Injuries and Other Health Impairments. Tami holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology and a Master’s degree in Digital Leading and Learning.
Tami’s passion for technology led her to the field of online education where she worked with K-12 students as an online academic coach and then as a supervisor for a team of remote teachers across the country serving Title 1 schools. From there, she worked as a curriculum developer for a national virtual school creating middle and high school online math courses for multiple states. She began working at Francis Tuttle in 2009 in the area of e-learning, and since 2014 has been the manager of the ID3 department.
Multimedia & Video Specialist
Shawn has been working in video production for 7 years as a photojournalist for multiple TV stations across the US. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Radio/Television broadcasting. He completed the National Press Photographers News video Workshop in 2019. He joined Francis Tuttle in 2022 where he films and edits instructional videos for the district to be used online and in the classroom

Though the entire ID3 department collaborates to serve the district as a whole, each Senior Instructional Design Specialist is assigned to specific instructional areas, and serves as the main point of contact for instructors in that area.
